In the world of Hollywood, a drama screenplay written by an unknown writer is extremely difficult to get a read. That is the harsh reality that many passionate drama screenwriters are forced to swallow. This is the main reason why the Hollywood Drama Screenplay Contest exists.
We've been in the trenches of Hollywood, and understand how the game is played. Our connections play a big role into why our contest is able to push drama screenplays into the offices of people who can make things happen. Of course, we cannot write the script for you, but if you have that terrific drama screenplay, we can do our part and help you get noticed!

Today, is the day to enter that great drama screenplay you've been working on for months. The Hollywood Drama Screenplay Contest is currently accepting screenplay submissions.
The Final Deadline to enter has been extended to 7/15/14. That gives you a full 30 extra days to get your screenplay submitted. Do not hesitate and enter your compelling drama script today!

All screenplays will be available for reading by leading production companies. Production companies seeking drama material will be able to view all loglines of every submitted entry. If any of the loglines pique their interest a production company representative will request a read of the screenplay. The writer will be notified if a production company requests a read of their material.Why Enter?

- Pay the appropriate entry fee based on the date of your entry via Paypal by clicking here!
- After your payment is done, email a pdf copy of your script and the logline by clicking here!
- After we receive your entry fee and script copy, along with your script's logline - we will email you your confirmation email.
Please note:
In order to receive the $500 cash prize, we will need your Paypal email address, or bank account information to send you your cash prize.
By entering you understand that you are not guaranteed to receive a read by production companies. Also, if a production company reads your screenplay, they are not under any obligation to option, nor purchase your screenplay.
You understand that there aren't any refunds after your entry has been submitted.
